Volunteer Participants who are fluent in English are most welcome to assist people from other countries to feel more comfortable in the use of conversational English. Please note this is not a commercial project. Student Learners do donate towards the operation and success of the Club. However, Volunteer Guests who are happy to be involved, do so on a voluntary unpaid basis.
YOU NEED A CLUB IF YOU
already have a language base, but you don`t have enough experience in speaking;

Why Do We Like Food?
We've discussed several questions about our food preferences, learned how to cook traditional British meals, and studied useful vocabulary.
The Art of Seeing Beauty in Life
"Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart" Who or what do you consider beautiful? What personality trait is the most important for inner beauty? These questions were discussed during that meeting. Our conversation was accompanied by colorful articles on the topic.
Volunteering. Who? When? Why?
Volunteering is not a common topic, but very important. Using the articles, we've come across some useful vocabulary. We've read interesting stories about volunteers' lives, and also opened the door to volunteering in the UK.
Self-Esteem vs. Self-Confidence. What Builds It Up?
Self-confidence can often be confused with arrogance and overconfidence. During the meeting, we discussed how to stop comparing yourself to others, set clear personal boundaries, and learn to accept yourself and take care of yourself.
HOW ARE OUR SESSIONS ARRANGED
We meet three times a week on Mondays at 9.00 a.m., Tuesdays at 6.30 p.m., Thursdays at 6.30 p.m. Moscow time.
Meetings are held in ZOOM in groups of 3 - 5 people.
The duration of the session is 90 minutes.
The meeting is a video conference. On the screen you will see the group members and lexical material on the topic of the lesson, which we will work out.
Conversations are held in a friendly informal atmosphere.

Thursday is Beginner level group, Tuesday - Pre Intermediate level group, Monday - Upper Intermediate level one. If you are not sure about your level - we will be happy to help you out there.

I Am Natalia Koroleva. For more than 15 years, I`ve been living with my husband and daughters in the amazing country of Scotland, I communicate easily with native speakers and teach this to others in my courses as a linguist teacher.
It all started with a journey that changed our lives – having visited Britain once, our family stayed here forever.
We have come a long way to our dream and created the WannaScotland family project to share our experiences of life in this corner of the world and give others the opportunity to experience the rich world of British culture and traditions through improving the language.
The idea of the club was born during the quarantine, when we were all forced to stay at home. Being «trapped» in four walls and not being able to communicate gave me the idea to organize meetings online so that everyone could talk in English with a native speaker without going anywhere. Subsequently, the participants supported the idea of a large-scale project to make as many people as possible aware of us.
It all started with a journey that changed our lives – having visited Britain once, our family stayed here forever.
